Stuart and Carol Wikander began their brokerage operations in 1999.

Stuart is a graduate from SUNY Maritime College with a BE degree and USCG 3rd Assistant Engineer License. He studied Naval Architecture at Maritime College and was employed as a traditional Naval Architect unpon graduation. He has also taught engineering and nautical classes of both theory, design and practical applications. His interest in small craft brought him and his family to Maryland in 1980. His hands on knowledge in both power and sail, wood and fiberglass were a great asset and he performed many Marine Surveys before entering the brokerage business.

Since 1999 Stuart has helped guide both novice and seasoned boaters to select the appropriate boat for their needs. He has helped sellers price their boats correctly, helping them make a sale in less than a good market. He has sold boats to buyers in Canada, England, Sweden, France, and Russia and assisted in arranging transport.

Carol keeps everything organized. She manages the day to day operations of both the Boat Yard and Brokerage business. She is people orientated and a calming influence if and when difficulies arise.
