Featured Boat 40' Custom Cruising (Project Boat) Ketch 2009 US$ 15,000 This full keel fiberglass cruising boat is still new and has not seen water yet. This yacht is an 11 ton danish ketch designed by Aage Utzon. 39.6 feet LOA with a 10'6" beam and a 6' draft. 700 sq.ft sail area. it is one of only two boats custom built to this design. Heavy fiberglass construction with a flush deck, an aft cockpit and dog cabin. A traditional cruising boat with a long keel and an aft hung rudder. This vessel is a project boat requiring finishing inside and out although the interior is roughed in with bulk heads,cabin sole, berths, etc. Fuel, water and holding tanks are already in place. An 18hp Saab diesel engine is included, also a Dickinson diesel stove. There are deck railings, drive shaft and prop but there is no rig with the boat.
