In 2004 Murray Yacht Sales, Inc. celebrated thirty years of service to the yachting community, started when Tim Murray purchased Walet Yacht Sales in New Orleans, LA in September of 1974.

With customer service as its focus, Stanton Murray has followed in his father’s wake. The growth of marinas in the 1980s created new opportunities for office locations in the region. Murray Yacht Sales has (2) office locations: New Orleans, LA, and St. Petersburg, FL.

The insight gained from over 30 years of market involvement has led Murray Yacht Sales to represent the new lines of Alerion Express, Beneteau (Sailboats and Powerboats) and J/Boats. Murray Yacht Sales is also a full service yacht brokerage firm selling both sail and powerboats. The New Orleans office offers Sailing Lessons through the ASA and Day Charters.

The Eagle 53 is the latest and presently the largest Eagle cruiser. The interior has two optional layouts: Two staterooms with bathrooms and a small office or laundry on the port side or alternatively with an owner's stateroom and two guest cabins. The Eagle 53 is fitted with twin 230 hp Electronic QSB 5.9m Cummins diesels as standard providing a cruising speed of 10 knots and a range of about 700 miles. Optional larger engines for a cruising speed of up to 18 knots can be installed. An 8 KW gen set is standard.
