As a full service marina, Dodson Boat Yard offers dock space, moorings, launch service, fuel, showers, pumpout, a chandlery, laundromat, parking, book exchange and a restaurant.The charter and brokerage section of Dodson Boatyard LLC. is located in the office building. Bright-hulled, DAME OF SARK represents the consummate example of the Abeking and Rassmussen/Concordia legacy. This beautiful, classic yawl is well equipped and maintained. She was reconstructed 1994-95 (decks and cabin top) and 2000-01 (hull) by the boatbuilders of Dodson Boatyard.
With a structural intergrity second to none, DAME OF SARK (Hull #86), is widely known in Concordian circles as the benchmark and representative of how a Concordia yawl should be found.
DAME OF SARK has an impressive sail inventory, 36 HP Yanmar diesel (installed 2001), immaculate varnished (fall 2007) African mahogany topsides and with Awlgripped (2008) Dynel deck, radar, autopilot, Raymarine instruments, SSB.
